Privacy policy

This policy explains what Doorpitch collects, why, and what we do with it. Operator: Doorpitch, India. Contact: hi@doorpitch.in.

Founders

We collect your email to sign you in, your name and phone for delivery alerts, your startup's name, message, website and the link to your pitch, and any design you upload. We use these to run your campaign and to notify you. We never store your pitch file; we store only the link. Payments are handled by Razorpay; we do not see your card or UPI details.

Investors

Our investor database holds business information: firm name, office address, and the names and titles of investment staff, compiled from public sources. We use it to deliver gifts and to match founders. We do not sell it or expose it. When an investor taps “Let's talk” we store the work email they type, to send one introduction email. Investors can pause or stop deliveries at any time, and can see and change what we hold for their office from their private Doorpitch page.

Tracking

When a card is scanned we record that the page was opened, whether the pitch link was tapped, and the investor's response. We filter automated link previews. We use these events only to show the founder their campaign's status and to publish aggregate totals that never identify an investor.

Photos

Kitchens and riders upload a photo when a cake is packed and when it is handed over. These are shown to the founder as proof and are kept for 90 days.

Sharing

We share delivery details with the kitchen and rider for that send, and payment details with Razorpay. We use Supabase for hosting and Resend for email. We do not share data with anyone else except where the law requires.

Retention and your rights

Campaign data is kept while your account exists. Write to hi@doorpitch.in to access, correct or delete your data; we respond within 30 days. Investors can ask us to remove their office from our database entirely.

Grievances

Under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may raise a grievance at hi@doorpitch.in. We acknowledge within 48 hours and resolve within 30 days.

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. No advertising cookies.
